We started in the black old english game bantams with a trio from Doug Pierson and added some Barnes, Vannoy, Ballard,and Reid blood. This is a male line but I do get some good females from this line also.  We will be starting a female line of black old english game bantams from the Varnado bloodline.  I received two really good trios from J.W. Hymer this year (10-2008)  Black old english were the first birds I ever had and they are my favorite for many reasons.  First, I love the competition...I almost never show where I do not have to go up against Andy Barnes.  His black old english are always tough competition.  Second, I just like the overall look of a black oe in show shape.  To me there is nothing more beautiful.  Third, I like the overall attitude of the black OE.  They are not afraid and they tame down easy when given the right treats.
